Poisson Blanc Regional Park officially opened to the public on May 23rd, 2009. The Park stemmed from the desire to enhance tourism opportunities in Notre-Dame-Du-Laus. The project is developed and implemented by La Corporation du Parc du Poisson Blanc, a non-profit organization established in 2004. Further to its specialization in outdoor tourism and a wide range of outdoor activities, the Park aims to complete and diversify available accommodation and hosting as well as contribute to the preservation and improvement of natural environment while generating local and regional economic benefit. The Park is the result of a management delegation agreement between the Ministère des Ressources naturelles et de la Faune in collaboration with the Antoine-Labelle Regional county municipality and the municipality of Notre-Dame-Du-Laus.
